Please remember to include the need to better accommodate micromobility devices (bicycles, scooters, prams etc) on all NSW public transport, not just in metropolitian areas but right across NSW.
Currently NSW TrainLink trains and coaches require bicycles to be disassembled and boxed up and limited to 20 kg max. This is a barrier for regional residents travelling to regional centres using a bike or similar for 'last mile' journeys. The 20 kg limit effectively excludes e-bikes, e-trikes, etc. It is also discriminatory as all trains on the Opal system accept roll-on, unboxed bicycles. Also NSW metropolitan buses would do well to emulate Canberra and several NZ cities by having a front rack for prams or bicycles. Thank you.
