Welcome to the confluence of the three rivers: Laykila (North Esk), Plipatumila (South Esk), and Kanamaluka (Tamar) and welcome to Better Streets Launceston.

We are advocates for streets (and laneways, paths and cycleways) that are accessible, aesthetic, interconnected, safe, sustainable, vibrant, and welcoming for everyone - however you get around - but particularly focused on improving active transport and the potential for walking, wheeling, and riding.

This group is all about sharing ideas, celebrating successes, and building momentum for better urban design, better active transport, and better streets in Launceston.
