Better Streets has submitted a response to the NSW Roads Act review, pushing for safer, people-friendly streets. We’re advocating for clear laws, accountability, and a shift to active transport.

It’s an exciting time for better streets in many towns in regional NSW - now, with funding from Transport for NSW’s ‘Get NSW Active’ program to create a new active transport strategy, it looks like Bathurst could get a chance at better streets, too.

Local group, Lewisham Better Streets, is improving walking amenity and has now put a Lewisham Town Centre Upgrade on council’s agenda for this year.

Congratulations to Better Streets Northern Beaches for organising the Walk, Ride, and Scoot event last month. The event was to gather support from the community and to highlight the need for safer streets for children.
